Narrative
Follow Katherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist whose work is built on exposing the wrongdoings of long-respected institutions. Gary Oldman was originally rumored to get the role, but was replaced by Kevin Kline. This is one of my worst series' I’ve never watched that even Cate Blanchett can’t save it.
I can’t believe how many things went wrong
This is coming from someone who read the book while waiting for this show. I have to say that I found the book itself very average. I mean, what’s with the sound quality and this horribly useless narration?
And that annoying transition!
Everything seems so wrong in this mess of a show. The ratings are fake, this is definitely not a 7 star series. The dialogue of the young actors is simply great.
One star for the cat
The whole show is just very boring. We already know from the beginning what happened to the book if I remember correctly, so once the mystery is gone we are left with nothing. Too bad I was looking forward to this.
