Narrative
CIA operative Jo struggles to balance her personal and professional life as part of the agency’s war on terror. Real military advisors helped create more authentic weapon handling, house clearance, positioning, activity based units, etc. I had to write a review because the writing, acting and plot are so good! I am a movie/series reviewer and viewer who approaches things from the “glass half theory”.
Great acting, dialogues, action!
This means I look at the positive first, then the negative. I either like it or I don’t. There is always a middle ground "Livica" it’s not just far from average, it has it all! Zoe Saldana is sexy and beautiful, and like her boss, played by Nicole Kidman, both are badass women in American espionage and the military.
Remember the series and the movie?
Both are America’s defense against world terrorism. Also helpful to the viewer is that even though this is a cable series (Paramount), it has a big movie budget. The production team is not going over budget, but is' aerodynamic, practical and flawless execution of production value. As I mentioned in the title, it has all the "24" and "Columbiana"!
Both were great
I don’t mind family problems and teenage drama. As a parent, I understand that. It works well for me. I kept thinking the terrorists were going to get to Jo’s (Zoe Saldana) family.
My fellow reviewers of past classics and well done movies/TV shows are obvious
(I hope not, but I could see it happening) Obviously I’m not done with the series yet. And I don’t have to write this review either."Lioness" it’s so good and I highly recommend it. This is one of the first reviews I’ve done and I have no issues with the content. I haven’t checked it, but I really want the second season of "Lauvenei"!!!
